About The Author

Andy was born in the upstate of South Carolina just a week before Halloween in 1991. He is the youngest in a family of four. Andy only spent a few of his toddler years in a suburban neighborhood until his family uprooted and moved to a rural valley in Moonville, SC. He spent the remainder of his childhood exploring the outdoors with his older sister. Throughout this time, Andy gained an interest in nature, botany, philosophy, unexplained phenomena, folk music, and folk tales. Andy believes that storytelling is the beacon of his family's southern culture. By the latter years of his adolescence, he also became interested in Feng Shui, new age idealism, creative writing, and visual art, particularly, visual journaling. He also sings but not on demand. After graduation, he attended Greenville Tech until he moved to the midlands to live with his sister and transferred to the University of South Carolina, where is currently studying cultural anthropology. While he enjoys the perks of campus life, he prefers his days at Tech over USC because "They are more open and down to earth than the arrogant rich hussies I met here" He also misses the country as it has played a large role in his life. Throughout college, he has worked as a barista, bookstore cashier, wedding/party server, dog sitter, front desk assistant, life coach, and a Feng Shui consultant on the side. Andy has written two self help books and one autobiography titled "Life On The Moon." However they are all only partially on paper and in his head. When he is not spending his free time outdoors, Andy watches Bollywood movies, studies Italian language, practices Hula Hooping, or plays with his dogs, Tater and Dolly. He is the vice president of the Carolina Horror Cinema club. Andy is a proud feminist and a supporting customer at Mcdonalds Inc. While Andy has an interest in healthy foods and nutrition, he has no current interest in being healthy or nutritious. He loves Chinese food, the colors purple and green, and anything to do with the late 80's/early 90's. Andy believes in putting his family first (including distant relatives) unless he is in the middle of his favorite shows. Andy takes part in family traditions such as Celtic music on Sundays, using dukes Mayonnaise whenever humanly possible, and keeping in touch with the goings on of The Young and the Restless. Andy also makes hemp bracelets if you want one.
